For more than 120 years the Milan Area Fire Department has been proud to serve our community with emergency response service since 1887.
With a coverage area of 77.6 square miles including Milan City, Milan Township, London Township and York Township, our 31 paid on call firefighters operate 7 apparatus out of 1 station located at 45 Wabash Street in the city of Milan.
The Milan Area Fire Department run an approximate of 800 calls for service a year. The MAFD provides a wide range of specialized service Emergency Medical Response, Motor Vehicle Response including extrication, Search and Rescue, Firefighting, Ice Rescue and Hazardous Material Response.
